 SolarShift Energy

Sarah, a visionary environmental engineer, co-founded SolarShift Energy to promote solar power adoption in the UAE. Her leadership drives the nation’s transition toward clean and sustainable energy.

When the afternoon sun blazes over the Emirates, most people seek shade.
But for Sarah Al Mansoori, the sun is opportunity itself — an endless source of power, progress, and purpose.

As the Co-founder of SolarShift Energy, Sarah has turned her childhood fascination with light into a mission that’s reshaping how the UAE thinks about energy.

Her journey began with a simple question: “Why should a country with so much sunlight rely on anything else?”
That question led her from university research labs to boardrooms where clean energy policies are shaped.

In 2017, Sarah and a small team of engineers founded SolarShift Energy, determined to bring solar solutions to homes, schools, and communities across the Emirates. What started as a modest local project soon evolved into a national movement toward sustainability.

“The future isn’t waiting for us — we’re building it, one rooftop at a time,” Sarah often says.

Under her leadership, SolarShift Energy introduced innovative rooftop solar systems that thrive in the Gulf’s harsh climate. Within just a few years, the company became a trusted partner for eco-smart city projects and public institutions.

Beyond business success, Sarah is passionate about empowerment. Through her initiative, “She for Solar,” she mentors young Emirati women pursuing careers in renewable energy — reminding them that leadership begins with vision, not position.

Today, Sarah stands among the UAE’s new generation of changemakers.
Her work not only reduces carbon footprints but also inspires a nation to believe in self-sustained, clean power — drawn from the same desert sun that defines its identity.
